a string line is just as accurate as a laser line 1.8th of an inch out max on posts is immaterial dunno how the romans and Egyptians managed accuracy with just a line

Yeah I've done this but then I walk off, walk back towards it and forgot the lines still up hahaYeah I get you, i just pull a string line round the posts and if it's touching along the flats on both posts it's square.
I've been on the phone to spectra precision and they say it's impossible to see a beam outside, what are you gate installers using?
