That must be a record, it doesn't normally take 35 posts before the Snap On haters turn up
Its not hate ,,,,

Its the equivalent of buying a £300 tin opener for the kitchen. Your afraid to let anybody use it incase they break it or steal it. But you have to show everyone you have one coz you think it can open a tin of beans better and then you were a hat just incase they didn't see it
Seen the tool snobs with their snap on inspection torches which were pure crap.
Just a led lenser which is a budget torch and they multiply the price by 3 and put snap on on it
You really dont have a clue ,,, but Ill offer you a little in the way of an explanation ,, When space is tight and you need a spanner that will fit between a case and a nut as an example you need something with a thin wall , and you need to know its going to stay in one piece when your swinging on it ,,,, If you dont happen to have a set of Stawhillie to hand , snap on will just do the very best ,,, if you work at junk ,as a hobby and nothings either that tight , or that important , or you dont do it very often , anything will nearly do, but when it has to work its a safe bet that snap on will do the job.
When a wise man points at the stars ,,, only a fool looks at his finger.

What model of torch are you usingThat is the key with Snap On, if you can buy from the OEM then it will be cheaper.
All of the Snap On lights I have excellent, two of them I bought for £15 each secondhand so that's hardly snobbery
