I have been repairing these brake line brackets as new ones will cost close to £300, the two parts were held together with a large copper rivet which also acted as protection for the brake hose that goes through the hole.
I have welded the two parts together but am looking for ways to put in a large rivet to the hole which is about 19mm id.
Any suggestions on how to do that.
A rubber grommet is not ideal as it will be too tight round the brake hose.
