its got to be 22mm. i am fitting a shower for my mum and need some washers to be able to fasten the main tap body to the wall.
the instructions say to fit the pipes solid and then fit the tap body to the pipes. i cant fasten the pipes solidly as i cant get acess as it is already boxed in and tiled (dad has taken a small panel out for acess) and made of mdf so i need some 22mm washers to fit over the compression fittings and clamp the pipes and unit to the wall when i tighten the compression fitting.
dad is going to see if he can get some tomorrow but were not to sure where he should start looking or if they do them

buy the 21mm bore washers and file them bigger .its only half a mm to come off all round

dunno where to start with that one as a bathroom fitter!
mdf is a 'mare in moisture laden environment
you need a couple of wall plate elbows. Showers usually take 15mm pipes.
if its a bar mixer there are surface mount kits that have 150mm centres and a flat bar that you fix over the tiles(screw), the mixer then fastens to that.
as a get out of gaol fix you can use pu foam to set the pipes if they are in a shallow void behind the wall that you cant/dont want to disturb, but not recommended.

in the instructions it says to silicone round the pipes
the mixers have a domed threaded cover so i can fit it up set the pipes and covers to where i want them then take apart silicone up and clamp it up never to be removed till mum decides she wants something else

im not sure if its a triton or a mira all i know is was on offer at screwfix for about £50
best description i can give is
it has a body with 2 inlets for hot and cold on the back that screw onto 2 short threaded connectors that goes from 22mm to 15mm fittings and they are offset instead of straight and the 2 domed covers screw onto the 22mm end and when the body is screwed on the domed covers are wound out till they cover the gap between wall and shower unit
the instructions are still but i had a load of bits in my hands before i picked them up and read them
i will take some photos when i go down next and show you what i mean
