My latest work on the 88" - this should be good!
just keep cutting the ends off the short springs with a grinder till it gets comfy ,, all we ever did. granted you have to bend the retainers , but we never even took the springs out to do them .My old s3 had Salisbury axle and heavy duty leaf springs, it basically didn't have suspension.
Many years ago we put a full set of parabolic springs on a SWB series three, it transformed the ride to that of a coil sprung defender.
