. Ive checked the wiring but cant see anything obvious, Any Landy guys have any idea?
I have had to do a couple around that age and the wiper spindle drive had seized up, and in turn overloading the motor. They are driven by a cable from the motor behind the passenger side dash.
It's a real pain of a job so you want to be sure it is that before you start.

Just a simple thought, is it the right fuse for the job (amp wise).

i disconnected the wiring plug from the motor and the fuse doesn't blow so its def a motor problem
can i disconnect the motor from the arms or does it all have to be replaced.From memory the motor, cable and wiper gears and spigots are all available separately.
I wouldn’t condemn the motor yet. If you are confident that the wiring to the motor and fuse are correct and OK, and it sounds like you have got as far as getting access to the motor.
If so see if you can remove the plate that covers the motor gear leaving the drive cable in situ and if you can disconnect the drive cable from the cam gear then you can check the motor and wiring and this may prove the motor is OK leaving the fault with the gear/cable area.
However I am not sure if the motor will come out if still attached the cable, hopefully it will. I find taking the dash out a real pain.

had it on mine was wiper spindle seized they are about £7on e-bay.
duuno what your dash is like but i took top bit off mine dropped instrument panel forward and did it that way about 3hrs.

im not looking forward to it, my wiper motor is in the passenger side close to the door jam, def something not right in that area. thanks to everyone for all the info, hoping to start it on thursdayi had this trouble when i first got me 90.
fuse kept blowing, got talking to a bloke that restores old buses.
he to me it could be the motor as it were so old, or it could be corosion on the shafts where they come out the bulkhead making them tight
so a few drops of oil on them sorted it, now i put a few drops on the every month, not had a prob since.
