Land Rover 3.0 Glow Plugs?

Quick question:
Do the later 3.0 tdv6 land rovers engines suffer with the stuck glow plugs like the earlier 2.7 engines?

Long version:
Currently have a 2.7, the glow plugs need doing on that but have the usual problem of being stuck in the heads.
I have added a remote start thing for the fbh which bypasses the problem which I would guess is also easy enough to fit to a 3.0?

I'm looking at getting a 3.0. I'd probably want to fit a remote to the heater on that one as well as it's certainly a nice feature to have in the winter but I'm a bit restricted for parking space so it is sometimes a hassle if I just want to move the car a couple of feet on a winters morning.
So would be nice to know if it's an easy job or not to do the glow plugs on a 3.0?

I would guess they have exactly the same issues. One thing worth noting is that on a D4 you can get a plug and play harness for the FBH as remote start was offered as an option. The connector is behind one of the rear boot trims from what I remember and you can literally just plug and Altox in with the correct cable.

I spent £800+ on a Vibropac to do the glow plugs on ours and still managed to snap some, we have just lived with the Altox ever since.

Personally I don't think it's entirely glowplugs that stop them starting, I suspect once they get to that point the injectors are as good as they once were.

I do agree though there are certainly times where it would useful to just have the plugs working.

I bought a proper kit to drill mine out but haven't got round to it.
