Sensor light has come up on my 940 Volvo want a hefty price but a universal one is half the price. Don't suppose the wiring colours are universal????? Think theres only 3 anyroadup.

    Definitely don't use a universal.

You will be able to get a reasonable substitute for a decent price.

Universal ones are useless, get a decent brand aftermarket model specific one.

Volvo, PSA,VW etc dont make O2sensors Bosch do, buy a sensor in a Bosch box not a volvo psa vw one.

I've found intermotor ones to be a reasonable pattern sensors, though you only get a couple years before corrosion destroys the body.

Go Bosch or NGK if you can though.

Never found an intermotor item that was worth fitting.

When I was looking for one for my daughters car, some of the cheapo ones needed the plug changing.changing plugs over apparently can bring on issues. Ended up getting one from a motor factors for £30 or so.
