Ladder Footer

A guy at work came back from holiday to find more flowers in his flower bed than when he left. They were there to mark the spot where his handyman died while he was away.

Evidently he was painting the eaves of the house and needed another foot of ladder height to reach the top. So he stood the ladder in the wheelbarrow.......the rest is self evident.

Lace up Mill clogs with jack studs in the soles or Dutch open top wooden boats with a deep instep ?

They're lace up traditional mill clogs with a brass front plate, I bought them from a yorkshire clog maker but not fitted with irons, rubber soles & heels I have a couple of pairs & also wear swedish clogs around the house/workshop,you obviously know about clogs, do you wear them?

I wore clogs for a couple of years working in a bus garage. Horrible things that took ages to get used to but by the time I'd finished there I thought they were excellent footwear.

I hate the bluiddy things Graham .
The Dutch gal who lived above us in a block of 1960's flat pack built flats didn't have slippers or a carpet & was blessed with a weak mind & bladder .
She'd be clacking about her flat on the lino covered chip board flooring all hours of the day & night , in spite me politely asking her to wear slippers instead of her wooden clogs .

I eventually felt irritated enough for the first & only time in my life to set fire to her flat with 40 gallons of petrol to burn her out instead of slitting her throat .

We fit a lot of these on flat roofs..they are 1 sq meter and 25mm thick,we usually put them on balcony's ect, we always have bits left over and they are ideal for ladder mats...recycled car tires they are
