all that power and heat and it cant be harnessed![]()
On top of that, it is almost certainly feeding off underground oil and gas deposits. Dread to think how much it's getting through, some of the numbers are gigantic.

Like to see them get that carbon neutralOn top of that, it is almost certainly feeding off underground oil and gas deposits. Dread to think how much it's getting through, some of the numbers are gigantic.
If it's happening anyway, then surely making use of the energy means not burning something else to make the energy instead, so surely it would be carbon neutral?Like to see them get that carbon neutral
I used to do a fair bit of gliding and I think your units are wrong, so does the US Geographical Service......To get a better sense of perspective for how large Earth objects are, what do you reckon is the average weight of a typical small puffy white cloud gently scudding across the sky? Answer, about a million tons...
yea but we arnt getting any of it and there not exporting itIceland manage it ….

and can suck you up in an instance and upturn big planesYeah, a little puffy white one that weighs about a million tons. That's the fella.
nearly got caught up in one
(Grandmother/eggs warning) Totally, that's why passenger aircraft have weather radar, which shows Cu-Nims pictorially on a moving map display, and it is a vital part of the pilots' jobs to go around, not through them. Just like a ship captain must avoid rocks, the results might be disastrous in both cases.and can suck you up in an instance and upturn big planesnearly got caught up in one

And a ban on carbonated drinks. All that fizz out of beer and Coke is destroying us.How do you propose harvesting a load of thermal energy at such short notice?
Massive steam turbine powered battery charger?? If there is such a thing (and there certainly will be) then we can do that anyway just by drilling a deep enough hole (which we probably also do anyway). But since a few cubic metres of molten lava is going to run that engine for a month, what do we do with the other millions if not billions of tons?
Best they can hope for is a moratorium on bonfires but, you know, this is in Spain...![]()

Ha ha you can't fool me...the fizz was already on the planet, Schweppes etc just put it in bottles! Anyway what about champagne! And a ban on carbonated drinks. All that fizz out of beer and Coke is destroying us.![]()
It happens in all walks of life and all subject's and probably always will, just human nature
Iceland manage it ….
