Had a very satisfying Saturday morning, stripping cleaning out the grease and re assembling the top slide. As expected it was full of grease, but cleaned up easily and the oil passages weren't blocked so pumping oil through was easy.
Somebody previously had cross threaded a socket head set screw in the hole for the top oiler, so had to drill and tap out to 1\8"BSP - only straight oil nipple I had, rest are all 45 deg.
If anybody knows where I can get the correct T piece for the tool post, I'd be grateful. This is the current set up, didn't even have the bottom top hat bush - till I made one - for the Dickson tool post.
More likely I'll need to mill one up, but what grade steel should I use ?
