thinking on this perhaps I will add another inline filter pre the factory one , at least if I put a clear plastic one in I coud watch out for it easily. will look whats on the bay..
If you wait patiently for about 6 months you should once again be able to purchase a nice new L200, apparently they are to start importing to the uk once more, according to Holly at my local dealers.thinking on this perhaps I will add another inline filter pre the factory one , at least if I put a clear plastic one in I coud watch out for it easily. will look whats on the bay..
don t do lotto !If you wait patiently for about 6 months you should once again be able to purchase a nice new L200, apparently they are to start importing to the uk once more, according to Holly at my local dealers.
Ahhhhhhdon t do lotto !
have nt taken it off yet ...as run a plug in egr delete ,and its freezing doing it in driveway! did disconect delete, but made no differance. obviously during rebuild all manifolds were stripped and given oven cleaner treatment to get the clean as new . but the fault is soo intermitant and yet no codes show up . would have thought egr fault would log up straight away ? either way frustrating as runs excellent in between! For starters I would pull the vac pipe off the egr and plug it off, take it for a test drive and see if symptoms go away.

Well I thought it was sorted, yesterday , minus 5 all good allthough slow on pick up below 2krev, today ,starts fine , runs ok but lacking power with occasional stutter on pull away or accelerating .then very little throttle responce, but not in limp. So pulled little vacuum pipe off and checked clear, check all injector wiring , then thought to plug back in agritune , in case it was a fault in the bypass plug. no went up the road same , tried on empty road several stop starts, all off a sudden cloud of grey smoke and it was off like a rocket. back to "normal" at all revs .
now consider , fully rebuilt engine 3or 4 k, had injectors serviced , all filter done, turbo checked, etc etc.
so filter and scv changed and that seemed to sort , no faults shown on delphi first nor last ??no lights on dash after start.
thoughts people , I have rebuilt several of these engines , hence the thoroughness getting injectors serviced etc. seems could be either bad fuel /water(but none found in filter) or injector /throttle body ? just anoying I can t get any fault codes and its soo intermitant.
thoughts please , shame there isnt mitsi agent nearby to fault find..on proper dedicated reader.
yes , my thoughts are carp diesel ,fuel/air problem , or blockage some wheres , so was texaco, now just filled with half tank of supreme diesel , will get some diesel/ injector cleaner to put in when tank gets low again.. its just no faults shown throws you , just been googling mitsi dealershits, as they all had closed , and sent two localish ones the question...do you have factory MUT diagnostics , await reply and pricing , inbetween that I will get another mas airflow sensor..but again that should show on testing if faulty.Could be a fuel issue, where are you buying it?

appeciate that , and yes I know what dealershits are like ..ohh it say xyz is faulty £800, now thats done abc is showing and it goes on till they do or don t find fault ,and your wallets is shreddedIf its bad diesel you'll not get rid of it by topping the tank with different stuff. If its water contaminated it will still be in the tank.
I would suggest draining the tank completely, flush it out and refill with fresh fuel. One of the lidl 12v oil pumps works well for sucking out fuel tanks. You can do it through the sender or fuel pump hole.
If you fill it into clear drums you will see if there us water in it.
No point in firing the parts cannon at it if it's something simple.
it maybe electical as intermitent , the fuel filter I replaced took the diesel out into bowl and super clean , no trace of water .
