Knock off battery's?

Id quite like to use my old Bosch cordless SDS but the batterys are well past it, its old so I cant see any genuine stuff about, does the knowledge on here think these will be top quality or will they burn the barn down quick as a flash?

i use clones for my dewalt stuff and never had an issue even with the cheap ones...the 3Ah clones last longer than my 5Ah genuine batteries, and the 9Ah is never ending on the imact gun

They do converters for all sorts...I use 18v DeWalt batteries to run my Dyson!

I did a quick Google...seems like plenty of options..search for "Bosch battery converter"

I had a quick peep but they are about £30 more than the ebay cheapies so I dont know if there would be any quality difference?

I have "fake" dewalt, makita and bosch batteries. One died under extreme load but the others (maybe fifteen or more) have been problem free and no issues with overheating.

I'd not pay the markup for a badged battery again.

Think I bought it on Amazon...I got fed up of changing the batteries and the lack of run time.

Easy to do....but got to match the converter to the model. It screws into the Dyson and fits like the battery would.

I have an older 24v bosch sds that uses the tower push in batteries.

There were no adapters available so I bought a universal makita lxt battery connector and bodged it onto the top part of one of my knackered bosch batteries.

The 24v bosch now runs very happily on makita 18v lxt batteries. It has just as much power as before, maybe more and the batteries last a lot longer.

I would suggest you convert it to use parkside x20v batteries. They are cheap and decent quality.

Funnily enough I tripped over the Bosch 24V battery earlier in the garage. I bought it along with the drill from someone on here.

Not sure where you got that info - every one of my knock-offs is a Li-ion battery
