Got a request from my newphew to make him some farm machinery implements for behind his pedal tractor. First off was a silage trailer which I copied on this..

    And the result...

No point having a trailer without a harvester!

Those are fantastic This is what an uncle did for me and my little brother in the mid-fifties; kid's toys have come on a bit since then.

If I had a hat on, I would take it off to you. They are fantastic, anything that keeps children outdoors and off the computer is worth its time ten fold. If/when I have children it would be nice to think that they could find enjoyment outdoors.

    Wow. They are immense.

Unfortunately the trailer is set up for side entry. So you really ought to make a self propelled harvester so he can go silaging with a buddy!! :)

That's one way to get the kids to mow the lawn.

  11. The attention to detail is superb, it puts the pedal tractor to shame!

Self propelled harvester means you don't have to tow it.
Second pedal tractor would be easier.

I really love those models. They would make a superb display at a county agric show, or at any event encouraging children to take an interest in farming.

Hope you have time to make a mower-conditioner and buckrake before the silage season, and a feed wagon ready for next winter.

Is the trailer from Tyrone as part of an Irish theme? Presumably nobody makes foragers in Ireland, but I wonder whether a McHale baler is on your "to do" list.

Oh yea, I missed the other tractor! Was just going by the way a trailed harvester would generally be used.... And attempting to make a funny, funny joke
