Proper kettle...
I was expecting the bit after the picture to read "but it disappeared over the horizon at a high rate of knots, and I've not seen it since".![]()
This from the Bugatti Blender page:
"It can achieve 4.27 peak HP and generates 57% more torque than traditional AC motors." Sad fekker I am I read most of the descriptions but TWO GRAND for a blender, having a larrf springs to mind

That used to bug me too but I just stand the kettle on the scales now and weight the water in. We've got very hard water (350PPM rings a bell, whatever that means) so we fill the kettle from a Brita jug anyway, and the scales are always beside the kettle for weighing coffee so it's no extra effort.2) no level sight/indicator.
I've wanted one of these for years, but I still can't bring myself to spend a hundred and fifty quid on a kettle.![]()
A kettle has been acquired!

Adjustable temp, no mechanical switch to go wobbly. Good price and its quick.
The only annoyances are 1) its right handed which doesnt suit being bythe fridge.
2) no level sight/indicator.

They also have digital controlled toasters, tho the box did not sell me the idea..
I’ve banned the use of our electric - for two reasons - one being that it was too easy to fill, switch on and boil, then forget, then re-boil, then forget etc. Second reason being gas hob one is cheaper, and much cheaper because you have to be there to switch it off, otherwise it screams at you! Someone, who must not be named, still manages to put the gas on high and walk off though...It is unreal how many kettles we have been thru over the years.
Wifey favours glass ones - based on she reckons she overfills them less - only boils just enough water (saves planet).
But they show the scale she is forever usign Citric Acid in them to clean them.
---------------
Gas ring - whistling kettle must be cheaper to run now - based on gas is less per KW?
But you need to boil the water to drive off the chlorine so it makes better tea!Have to disagree. Solid state controls have been around a long time now. Heating water to only 80 or 90 degrees will save quite a lot of power, rather than unnecessarily boiling it.
BTW, our fridge has a temperature display which is used for temperature selection and warning, if above the set point. I’m not complaining about that one. Your comment about ‘seeing’ the contents of the fridge can easily be countered by asking whether you can see the temperature of the water in your kettle.
Not weighing coffee... You're not taking this far enough.Weighing coffee... Your taking this too far..![]()
"Fellow Stagg EKG", just a posh, temperature controlled, gooseneck kettle. What is it?
