have got a kemppi stick, had it 5 yearsOn paper, the Jasic wins. It has better efficiency and power factor, plus it has a proper euro torch connection. It also has a stick mode that might be handy.
In real life, knowing how well Kemppi MIG sets are made, I'd take the Kemppi anyway.
kemppi here i come lolIf you’ve got a choice surely it would be a kemppi over a jasic all day long??? Can’t comment on build quality of the migs but the tigs are superb. I wouldn’t consider them to be in the same class… jasic and something like rtech would be a fairer comparison. You’d compare a kemppi to maybe a Miller or esab?
Depends on budget and usage I guess, I’ve used lots of kemppi welders over the years and I find even if they’ve been run over by the forklift they just work and all day. Very rare you find one that won’t work, even the ancient master tigs. My jasic tig has been faultless but I doubt it’d take the same punishment a kemppi would. But they are quite a bit cheaper…
