Last time i was in a welding service shop there was a big pile of boards in one corner, all Kemppi. Service manager showed me one of them, huge amounts of lacquer on them to dust proof. Makes them not worth trying to repair he said. They had the skills to do PCB repairs though.
Still not the worst brand. They have a huge hire fleet of mainly Kemppi so that would explain why there were so many of them.
They were the importer of another European brand but they gave up that one because of the lousy quality.
