Kempomat 1701

Hi, just picked up a Kempomat 1701, looks like a nice machine but no power to wire feed motor or power to tip, only things that apeared to work are the mains indicator and fan! Checked all the usual items, fuse, internal connectors (all bright and clean), no damage to pcb or obvious damage to components. Does anyone have a circuit diagram please. There only seems to be one internal fuse (on pcb) are there any others hidden? I believe they also have a thermal trip, take it that is attached to the transformer windings? Thanks in advance, Paul.

Dear good evening, I am new here looking for help, please be good, I turn to you because I need to be able to operate an old Kempomat 250C machine, the problem is the following described in the attached drawing, the A001 card (4256050) is apparently damaged Because it does not deliver 24 V for K001 to work, the card looks simple but I still can't find the problem or damaged component.
That is why I turn to you, for help I do not know if there is a schematic with the components to be able to make a better review of each component or as a replacement the card to be able to import ... by the...

In general you will first need to find the "auxiliary power supply" - usually a medium-sized transformer with 12 or 24 volt AC output, and a bridge rectifier, smoothing capacitor, and perhaps a voltage regulator, and check for connections, and voltages there.
Low-end hobby machines have a tiny transformer on the control board, but a quality machine like a Kemppi will have a separately-mounted transformer, with the other components on the PCB. This will run the wirefeed motor, the control logic, the contactor ( relay ), and the gas solenoid.
If the welder has an industrial-size contactor, that will often have a manual operating button in the top centre. Pressing that will power-up the main transformer, allowing you to strike an arc at the end of the MIG wire, without needing the auxiliary power supply. There are live mains voltages on the terminals there, so use an insulated screwdriver to do this.

Had a probe about with the multimeter this afternoon, seem to be lacking 24v everywhere, even to the pcb so some of what you say is correct, however I can't find any sort of contactor or bridge rectifier, so really need a circuit diagram to make sense of it...help

There is no auxiliary transformer on that model, and also no contactor. The transformer gets power as soon as mains is switched on. The primary of the main transformer has no tappings because the output power is controlled by two thyristors ( SCRs ). There are secondary windings for 31v and 47v. Maybe the model 1701 is similar? Please post some internal photos of yours.
