Actually EVO 200 is intender for small reels, only thing that is needed is to remove the attachment for 200mm reelThat's quite a sharp turn for the wire to get from that small reel into the plastic guide and drive unit. Could be a lot of friction there.
Those encoders have long been an issue for Kemppi in my experience. I did the encoders on two out of 5 mastertig sets at work.
I use Teflon for everything (just too lazy). Steel is actually better with steel I think...teflon can easily be damaged.teflon liner is intended for alu wires, is it good to used it for steel wire if it has reduced friction?
