Keetona guillotine

Hi guys.
I brought a keetona guillotine. Do any of you chaps know to cutting capacity of this..its about 5ft long...

That will be mild steel, you can halve that for stainless. as far as I can remember all the treadle machines I ever used were 1.5mm (16swg) capacity, but actually cutting 4 or 5 foot of 16swg sheet takes a lot of jumping up and down on the pedal, especially if the blades are not at their best.

Are there any firms that deal with replacing or sharpening the blades if needed... can't find a great deal about keetona guillotine.

Just been offered a 4ft Keetona for £150, have to decide if I can fit it in. How big a foot print you reckon is needed for yours?

Nice...a good price to..dont let that go...make it fit in...i think I will need about 6ft long by 2ft wide should give me workable room.

Yours being 4ft..width should be about the same..they don't have a lot of depth to them.

Probably 16gauge... as Paul said, they take a fair bit of jumping on... always found the biggest lad to work with at college when cutting sheet
