I just found out Zoop seal is now called Shineseal and Caswells sell it.

I used to use Peek polish then rub it off with a soft rag dipped in plain flour to get the black streaks off. Then I stopped doing it and realised I liked the patina when the aluminium tarnished naturally. We fetched a bike that had been coated with ACF50 and it was a bitch to clean off after it had gone dull and road haze stuck to it.
