Do a value density calculation. If something is worth, or will be worth, more than, say £100/cubic foot, keep it. If less, scrap it. Especially if it requires preservation effort.
Your value will be based on the value of your space and time. But it'll force you to consider what stuff is costing you in space by keeping it and encourage you to keep higee value/smaller objects that will also have the added bonus if being easier to post.
I.e, keep a speedometer, scrap a set of seats.
