That was about the time that I had my 450 Desmo.....
Funny old world. If only we'd known that over fifty years later we'd meet up again on an internet forum.
Whatever the hell that would be.......
Make sure your wrists are well strapped up!Now this is a proper dril.
I know, I was drilling a 5/8 inch hole in the lorry chassis and it grabbed as it broke through, trapped my hand against/inside the chassis rail, so I have the tee shirt and the memory...... plus the respect.....Make sure your wrists are well strapped up!

I’ve still got one, it was really good kit. It came from the B & D service centre on Bristol, so say refurbished but think it was brand new, just not in a box. Bought in the early ‘80s I would guess.Best and longest lasting angle grinder I ever had was a B&D Professional
Mine would have been that sort of age. Also came with no box from a B&D service centre.I’ve still got one, it was really good kit. It came from the B & D service centre on Bristol, so say refurbished but think it was brand new, just not in a box. Bought in the early ‘80s I would guess.
