I can recommend getting a coffee or tea from a McDonald's drive through and enjoying it on your own whilst you catch up on your favourite forums. Tell them you've been to Wickes but they didn't have the X, Y, Z thing in stock.

Frankly, I do not find it a particularly relaxing place currently.

It's a funny thing. At the end of the day I simply drop tools and walk away. But I enjoy spending the first half hour the next day doing a tidy up, sweeping and sorting.

It's time to build a small shed extension, full of shelving, to get some of the stuff out of the way ;-)

That would work for me...for perhaps a month...and then the new extension AND the shed would be filled up.

Sometimes I wonder if my subconscious goal in life is to eliminate all useable space by filling it with tools and bits of metal.

I'm not an all-inclusive hoarder...just a tool hoarder.

I know a guy who used to go down the shed, potter about a bit, leave the light and pillar drill on, and go down the pub...
He won on a local raffle once, was dead chuffed until someone "leaked" it to the local paper....

LOL, well, yeah, I did build another shed. An extension I suppose but before then it was merely a large cupboard.

Just had a quick look in there and it's not doing too badly for space.

Soon see about that!
