Never heard of them before - pretty specialised and British built.
TIG designed for use on all sorts of fancy aerospace alloys.
Cost a fortune.
Again something made in Britain.

We need to know the items we are shipping for insurance purposes.
And I posted it because I had never heard of this type of welder and I honestly thought people would be interested. This is a welding site after all

I'm not complaining, it's a cool technology I'd never have heard of otherwise, and to be fair if they didn't want people knowing what they were sending they could have built a non-descript crate around it, but it still feels a bit, I don't know, invasive?

Who is they? Mentioned no names. Wasn't from the manufactures.

I thought GDPR was anything about not identifying an individual rather than a company.

I only mentioned where we had sent the pallet. It might have even been a 3rd party contractor on site. We often send pallets to a Tesco or Asda or similar with tiles on or bricks or cement etc. I doubt Tesco themselves are using the stuff. In fact we have now shipped over 500,000 pallets so we have sent pretty much everything to everywhere.
It was funny travelling around London on an open double decker. Postcodes and addresses kept jumping out at me - my other half got rather fed up with me saying we have collected from there or delivered to so and so
