Been watching Youtube for metalwork projects and mainly found the stoves that people make in the states.
So in a similar vane decided to make a mini one for a couple of Tea candles!!!
So used what scrap i had on the band saw, sliced diced and welded, the main box is around 5 or 6mm thick so did a sort of first pass with TIG, the switched the machine over to MMA , filled the edges with that, then back to TIG.
At one stage I must have had some flux under the weld pool as when tig'ing over the top the metal pop'ed back into the TIG cup and has left a nice spodge right across a section of the gas shroud, so now need another.
Decided I had finished earlier and went for tea.
Then had a last play before cleaning up.
Spent a far few hours, but it kept me occupied, can be of no use what ever.
Does anyone else do nonsense like this for the sake of it?
Adrian
