Missed something I think...did someone shnaffle Richards tig whilst I was out froniously digging for Roman coins so I could buy it and make it mine, Mine, MINE hahahhaaaaa.

Make a cover for it as soon as you get it home, and smear a light coat of oil on it. I won a 6 foot x 3 foot cast iron one with a heavy cast iron base for £50 as no one else could shift or move it. As I knew the ebay seller (a dealer) and he literally had to come past my gate to collect it from the company he bought it from - so that included delivery. By laying timbers on my pallet pump truck I can shift it round the workshop if I have to.

Yep, a good lubing then place a cover of some description. It will become a great flat surface for gathering piles of crap...at least nobody can use and abuse it then

That looks exactly like the marking bench we had ours was a bigger one at my last place of work in exactly the same colour also. Fully height adjustable and perfectly flat on top. If it is what I think it is you've bought something quite special and very very expensive.

Picked it up last night, took 5 of us to heave it out of the unit it was in, onto the forks and into the back of the van. Currently being stored at a mates farm (covered) until we move into the new unit next month. Funny thing was the seller being the guy who interviewed me for a welders position a few years ago....I didnt get the job . I think he clocked me after a little while, but we didnt touch on the subject.
