I have just found, joined the forum have some welding experience mainly from years ago on plant machinery and hgv some on cars.
Had training in arc and oxy/accet played around with mig. Have a small diy (cant remeber what make) mig.
looking at trying tig welding just for own use so looking for tig set on a tight budget due to wont be using it all the time and cant justify have expensive thing sat around unused.

to the forum, if you've experience of OA then TIG should be easier to pick up as the principle's the same, just uses an "electric" flame!
