I was thinking something along the same lines - I do always wonder about vice "restorations" as its just a tool . . . but then I remember I rebuilt my Lancia (which went all the way to the MOT station and back this year . . ) and to some, a car is just a tool, so . . .

Its a mad man thing...up to not long ago (few years) i had a collection of every pair of old work boots going back 30 years and had this crazy dream of displaying them in a dedicated room in my house on shelves. More than enough moans off my missus about my dream and i thew the lot into a skip in a rage and have regretted every day since.Dont listen to her anymore and collect anything i like, did i tell you about my 20 or more adjustable spanners
