no i just built the weld up and ground it back...but I sohuld be doing more tomorrow will take a couple of snaps then

no i was blowing holes in the metal just had to build the welds up to cover the holes...am i right in thinking 1 is the lowest and its not some backwards thing??

try turning up the wire speed mate as no 2 will be a bit slow. try 4 or 5. should sound like bacon sizzling in a pan. also what gas are you using. using no2 wire setting will cause the wire to do kind of a spray instead of dip. adjust the wire settings until you get it right, if its a dial try it on all the different numbers. do a 1 inch weld with each setting side by side leaving 10mm between each weld then take a picture of the top and bottom, post them on here and we will have a look. number the welds though on the top and bottom with the setting no.
