Hi All
Having read a load of posts about which Mig welder to buy, I called ******* and told them what i would be using the welder for. In the end i decided on the GYS pearl 200-4 XL. I drove from Anglesey to telford to pick it up, I cannot praise them enough the service was brilliant, they had the machine out and showed me all the set up and digital display settings. I was looking at the Lincoln, miller and oxford machines (in my mind buy cheap buy twice) but thats not the case with the GYS pearl. It has better specifications than all the other machines for a couple of hundred quid cheaper. Ive repaired 6mm thick gates no problem, and the body work on my Iveco daily van is still ongoing. The machine goes down to 0.6mm thick on synergy mode, and also goes down to 20 amps. Which is better than the other machines which only go down to 30 amps. Once again thanks to ********* well worth the trip. Honestly this is a good machine.
