Excellent. I'll check what the thread is for a reg (any links to help the novice out? ;-))

As for turning it upside down, at the moment the top has been removed from the bottle so I may see if the dip stick part can be removed. That should negate the need to invert I believe.

As all of the mechanism has been removed, is it safe for me to remove the dip tube and reassemble?

Should be ok, just unscrew the dip tube
