Hello,

I used to do bits of auto welding and now that I own a land rover I expect to have to do a lot more

I've been lurking on this forum for ages and thought I'd better join - it is with out doubt the most useful welding forum ever.

Aha a Landy owner eh ? Always wanted one, but never got around to it. All i'm asking for is a pre 1973 landy (for the tax, or lack of it) thats going for scrap, but is worth doing up over the winter and spring. Oh and a rent free or cheap garage to work in, as mine is full up. I don't think its too much to ask

Ahh .... a RAMP
even one of those drive on / jack up 18 inches types would be better than nothing, doubled with a little cheapo car creeper from Machine Mart that would be great.
