I was called up in march , we were handed a form which told us the case could last more than six weeks but we had a chance to say why we could not do it , I wrote that i am self employed and had contracts to finish , we went in front of the judge one at a time and told him the same and I was excused but I am still down to do two weeks , so my name is still in the hat. The case (which is finished now ) was the Buncefield Oil Depot explosion near Hemel Hempstead . I dont mind two weeks but six would see me on the bread line !

I was called up last month. Being self employed and barely making a wage already, I asked a few mates about what to do. Some said show up and demand your hourly rate, others said don't go...see what happens as there is a pool of people to choose from and they expect people not to show.
Despite some reservations(most of us are all honest most of the time right?), I figured my summons wasn't signed for by me, by anyone in fact.......so I burnt it and didn't go.
Haven't heard a thing.

lol they probably know royal mail is crap and that half the postage disapears as there using asylum seekers and bandits to deliver them
