Jump start box

OK bit of the topic of welding ( i do have a raul plug welder so there is a link) I'm in the market for a jump start box. I currently have a Marlin special and it wont even start my mums Chincochento so no hope of starting a van (witch is what i got it for.) I'M looking to spend about £100 what would people recommend. Ive used the Sealey one and found it very good but bit expensive! Can get them of eBay for right kind of money or is there a better make i should hunt out?

I have a silverline 15Ah jump starter/air compressor/inverter thingy. Only used it once to boot over a transit van, coped very well. Dunno the cost, was a freebie from a supplier, maybe worth checking them out?

I've had one of these clarke ones for 4 or 5 years. No problems with it yet, takes a day or so to recharge.
It will just about start a tractor as long as it's not completely flat.

personaly i've always used a van battery feed off a split charge kept in a plywood box with anderson plug to the jump lead, we used the same thing for hgv's but with 2 proper big battery's

Looks like MM are having another round of VAT free days (4th & 7th Jan in Brum), so maybe hang on 'til you get your local one?

Sounds like a plan and if it will start a tractor then should start my van as its as high tech as an old tractor!
