Job pricing again

Hi

I have a quick question. I am going to put in a price for some bespoke stands . I know the price of the materials but was wondering how do you price for the amount of mig wire and gas used.


Any help would be good

I work it into my hourly rate, when your working your probable using consumables.

This way it's easy to price jobs off the top of your head.

Nominal sum, don't get hung up on it.
The cost for consumables should be negligible compared to your labour.

Thanks for the replies. I am not really sure if anything will come of it . They need these stands but as I work at the university and the department .it has 10 different people to go through and red tape.


So the work will prob go to some of the fabrication people that do work for the uni and will get ripped off where as I would charge a respectable price.

I have seen it plenty times.these people basically see the uni coming and if your lucky just double the price and also do a **** job but no one checks it. I hate people that show no pride I there work and they still get the work.

Not had a total work out really. My first real job I have planned for . Really just want something to make some extra money as pay not brilliant and job still not real secure but that's a long story.

Will make it all legit if anything comes of it.
