Hello, my name is John, and I'm an alcoholic. Sorry, wrong message board (I bet no-one has done that before).
I'm a self-employed service engineer. I repair all kinds of welders, mostly MIG and bodyshop spot welders. I work almost exclusively in bodyshops now, partly cos i got sick of all the grime on fab shop floors.
I'm not touting for business. If anybody has any problems I'll be happy to help. I started working for Hobart in 1978 - probably the best welders along with Miller coming from the States - but over the years I've worked on just about every make, from the best on the market to, well, we've all been on Ebay haven't we?
I also sell the odd MIG, plasma cutter, guns etc, but like i said, that's not why I'm here.
P.S. 30 years in the welding industry and I've never had arc eye!![welder :welder: :welder:](/forum/styles/smilies/weld.gif)
