Odd misfire on my Jimny. 05 VVT
Only happens once per journey, about 10 minutes in or so, just as the temp gauge is getting to the point it comes to rest at and stays at regardless of journey. No overheating or loss of water.
Misfire lasts a second or two, before and after which it runs fine. Even after parking up for a few hours, it will not misfire on a second journey.
Always starts on the button. No codes showing on my cheap reader.
I replaced the plugs today as somewhere to start. Those that came out looked fine and all the same. No change when I took it for a test run.
Obviously test runs are limited to one a day as it won't misfire twice!!!
Going to get a coil pack to swap in/around next.
I'm thinking it must be heat related but the very short duration and limited occurrence has me bemused.
Anyone come across similar symptoms before??
