Just for small projects like small car trailer log splitterI don't know much about the Jefferson migs . I had there little inverter arc welder for a year then the board blew. Is it for car body repairs.
The duty cycle on that mig is very low 15 percent at 210 amps . And for building a log splitter it's very small by right you need at least a 250 amp mig .Just for small projects like small car trailer log splitter
Mig is eeasier than stickWould you not buy a good stick welder. It would be more suited to heavier welding
Mig isn't that easy you have to set the wire feed set the gas set the volts mig welders can be cantankerous yokes if the wire tension isn't set properly or if the steel is dirty . Ya ok when you have clean steel and the plant set right then it's bit easier. That's just my experience through. I don't know enough about that Jefferson mig to advise you on how good they are . But I do know from experience that a 210 amp mig with a 15 percent duty cycle is on the small side.Mig is eeasier than stick
