did you have the transit 2.0ltr engine ? A 2.0 with a 1.6 camshaft to slow it down !!!The MKII is my favorite Transit. Mine was a Luton with 2.0 Pinto so a little thirsty though

i think mine was made with a york but had a DI in , a little better.

I done the transit in my profile pic was a diesel but we did have DI on the fleet as a young kid it was a funny vehicle to me back doors always filthy with oil

About 2 years ago, I was selling a load of donated workshop manuals to raise money for a local cancer charity. There was a proper BMC manual for a Morris 1000 amongst them, which I sold to someone nearby. When he came to pick it up, I handed it over & the man opened it to have a look, in the middle of the loose leaf folder was a genuine Mini Moke manual clipped in as well. I would guess that's about as rare as unicorns. I missed that, as I'm sure that would have raised a few bob.

I bought the Eagle body molds and chassis jigs off my old mate Rob Bud when he retired as a project for my lads ,I got the Range Rover based CJ jeep molds which dropped onto a standard Range Rover chassis and the other one ( shorter better looking) which went on a bespoke chassis below that used all 4x4 RR running gear.All the other versions he did went elsewhere .The mold that that produced the body for a standard RR chassis had a bit of an accident so there wont be anymore of those made,the other one is with the guy that does the laminating. my ocd got my fabby to re-engineer all the chassis jigs to make them more builder friendly. Its all mothballed in the corner of the yard atm and unless the kids get on with it I will probably flog it on.
There are quite few that have been finished properly
