Thanks, I just found that one. I'm not sure if it's the right one as I don't have the serial number for the machine yet.
I would think so, There's a lot of info on jcb's on there.Do you have to sign up to download from there?
Look in the download section, JCB 3cx is in there.OK I'll do that tomorrow and get browsing, cheers.
Are these generally safe? Found an operators/workshop manual for my john deere on there but hesitated over clicking download! The classic machinery network has downloads.
Turns put it was fine. It looks like a site moderator uploads all the pdfs so they aren't put there by randoms. Downloaded and scanned it. All fine, so opened it and just what I needed and the manual I don't have for the tractor. Are these generally safe? How much is 'cheap' for an old 3CX? I have limited need for one, but it would be bloody handy on the couple of occasions that I do.I'm after a workshop manual for a 1982 JCB 3CX, as my old man has just bought a cheap one and will need some work doing. Can anyone send me one or tell me where I can download a copy?
7-8k if you are lucky. They go quick at that price. Cheaper is generally with a list of problems. Finding one without VAT is harder than it should be!How much is 'cheap' for an old 3CX? I have limited need for one, but it would be bloody handy on the couple of occasions that I do.

Good, that makes it all safer too. It looks like a useful site. Glad I stumbled across it. The backhoe section is very JCB... shame I bought a Ford backhoe!Holger is pretty choosy what he lets on his baby![]()
