Jassic 240 v 160 amp mig / mma

Just using one of these today at a customers ( thier plant) very impressive little machine for the price
Smooth as although I shouldn't take it up past 6 mm max on mig function, great on 3 - 4 mm box I was on
Only criticism is what a rubbish earth clamp ( not hard to swap out mind)

Certainly good gear for the outlay.
We've got an AC/DC tig set, bought as a sort of stop gap replacement for an old 3ph migatronic with dud HF. Use it for everything bar heavy ally, fire up the big miller for that.

Was well impressed within its limits - didn't fire up the mma side used my own lorch for that bit ( doubt it would have run nu5 and Li hy much good)

On the tig200 in mma mode you tell it what size rod you are using. Not sure if the ocv can be changed on it.

Cels it's got little chance as you say but most hobby inverters these days light up a 7018. I wouldn't be surprised if it would keep low hys going nicely.
Nice to hear hobby sets getting good reviews from experienced welders. Gives people good hope that good usable kit is affordable.

I use a jasic 3 phase mig in work mig 400 .and I give it hell welding big rsj,s all day. They seem a good machine never any problems.think there Chinese?

They are Chinese yes.

This set actually serves Comercially at the client - they do tractor mowers and use it for bodywork, having a big old three phase transformer set for heavier plate

Frankly if I wanted a portable mig for car body and sheet, with the addition of stick then I should buy one of these even though I haven't tried the mma side out
