Its not flat out welding.between measuring,cutting,prepping,welding,painting,installing its resting more often than not.Jesus H, only trying to help! You see, the thing is, I sold a similar maintenance machine to a similar clever dick just recently. "Keeps dropping voltage and over heating...it's ****, I want a replacement". Had it collected, sent him a replacement. Couple of weeks later he's back on; "Still cutting out, not a patch on my Fronius!"
Well it won't be as good as your Fronius mate, your Fronius was 600 quid & these are <£200!; what you using it for anyway? "Burning 3.2mm rods over an 8 hour shift, I've been welding for 40 years" blah, blah.
Did you consider that a maintenance machine is not up to that kind of work? No. Always the kit. Classic case of the Tool using the tool!!
it just does not like 110v power.its not alone there,most dont like stick welding on 110v but i am going to see if i can find one that does.
