Hi all, whilst I’m awaiting the cover-all forum discount code approval from the bosses I thought I’d pop up the discount codes we have running at the moment.

use code JASIC10 for 10% off all Jasic machines or PARWELD10 for 10% off all Parweld machines.

discount code should be all sorted next week

Isn't it the same for us paying tax?

Eg, something costing £100 before tax will require £108 with the discount, either pre- or post-tax.

£161 tax ex.

Looks like £3 ish different to me.

Ah, I see what's going on, VAT is being calculated at full price, then discount taken Pre-VAT, then the VAT calculated from full price is being added.

Not sure if this is how it's normally done with discounts and VAT, I thought VAT had to be calculated on the discounted price? but I agree, a little frustrating, but also some discount is better than no discount.

I believe its the revised special 8.333% forum discount (if my rusty maths is right) but whatever the level of discount, owt is better than nowt according to our Yorkshire friends
