Jag xf (similar to SType I think) parking brake cable routing

I replaced the inner cable on the xf, went to refit and damn, I can't work out the routing of the cable - it needs to go towards the lhs, double back to pick up on the Lhs cable, and across the wheel well to the other side. The best routing I see is through the driveshaft tunnel in the subframe, but it feels wrong. Anyone tackled this?
I've asked on the Jaguar forum but don't hold much hope there...

Is it worth the £20 or so for a days access to Topix so you can see the routing as per JLRs workshop manuals?

Not had need for the Jaguar ones but the Land Rover ones are as detailed as they get.

I downloaded the JLR manual, the routing isn't in there,despite one of the "checks" being - check the routing..

It doesn't show the attachments but it does show the layout

If you have the Topix manual downloaded, have a look for the relevant 'Description and Operation' section, these often (in JLR world) give the details the R&I sections don't.
