A friend races a sv650 in the twin cylinder class and I do bits and pieces on the bike for him, after a minor "off" I collected the bike and various new parts to replace the bent or broken bits including a radiator that almost certainly came from the same supplier and looked shocking! In fairness it fitted fine everything lined up and no leaks, It's done a full season now plus track days and has held up fine, certainly not a thing of beauty but functional and cheap as chips. Best bit is the fairing hides all the snotty welding.

They clearly make and sell a fair few, so you'd think by now with all that practice the welding wouldn't look like a chain round a donkey's 4rse.

Mainly because on an SV it's right out in plain sight. So every time you're parked up somewhere it's going to draw the eye like a pimple on a porn star's 4rse.

If it holds pressure and works its cheap for the money, I've priced a few cores lately, core alone for my next job £440 plus 55 postage on top, i paid £65 for 2 filler necks that I know will weld clean from AH fabrication, I wouldn't even consider buying that radiator, but I know plenty who would because it's cheap

Here's a picture I keep on my phone when someone says I can get it cheaper of ebay, there is around 4-5 different sellers on ebay that use the same picture some claim to be from the uk

Given what it is, if it holds water without leaks and cools the water then its fit for purpose

The radiator I bought for the V8 trike is not a great deal better quality than the one in the pic. It's far bigger, so the somewhat shoddy welding doesn't stick out so much.

Its horses for courses I think....not everyone can afford a few hundred on a radiator...and if they're on here I'm sure they can polish that turd up quite nicely....or at the very least make it look acceptable by rolling it in glitter

My MR2 had a cheap ebay radiator....logic being the only way anyone would know is if they took the car apart as it was buried quite well!

Only two questions to ask is "Does it do the job and is it reliable ?" Anything else is Bling.
