Yesterday my elderly neighbour asked if I’d take away an old hand cart, she’d sold the barn it was in and if I didn’t have it it was for the tip. I’m pretty sure it’s a hand and not donkey cart from the design - there’s a cross bar (handle) missing but I can see the holes where it once sat. It has a lot of rot and woodworm, but is salvageable, though not for work - the wheels have had it.
I spent this afternoon photographing it and taking it apart. It needs some wet rot hardener, woodworm treatment and some new letting in - the latter will be fun given I haven’t a clue where wood is concerned.
