has anyone got a good source for instant grab adhesive ?
It needs to be black and solvent free.It's for some plastic-(ish) wheel arch extensions.They will be fixed to a painted surface.

People often use PU sealer for that, stuff like tiger seal.

As above PU adhesive like Tiger Seal or Sikaflex is preferable for vehicle use as it is flexible. Hold them in place with masking tape till it sets although a rivet or screw either end is preferable for added securing.

as above tiger seal is great for that job and they wont fall off, and you can clean excess of with a plastic scraper then wipe away residue with solvents to leave a neat finish

agree pu sealer like tiger seal is whats used for that , do it when you can tape /clamp them in place for at least 24 hrs

they wont fall off in a hurry

Tiger seal/Sikaflex is really a last resort in this case.
The arches are pretty rigid and will be under some tension to line up correctly with the bodywork....they originally came with stud fixings but the owner of the vehicle cut them off.
They are also painted so it will not be possible to rivet or screw them in place temporarily and tape wouldn't hold them.
Also,they have a concave shape to them which will make them difficult to clamp in position.
Hence why I'm looking for instant grab.White is readily available online/Screwfix etc but it would look awful on a gold car.

it does sort of instant grab , but i would tape em in place to make sure

done it plenty of times , its pretty much all that works unless you want to use mechanical fixings

good luck with that, says for building trade, ive used pu sealts plenty of times for fixing body kits and arches some of them awkward as you say but clamped in position while it cures and they dont come off, i think you may be heading for a headache using non automotive sealant

I dont think any non solvent sticky stuff would do for what your looking for,as a few have suggested go with a PU sealant/adhesive

Its not instant grab(24hr min cure) but when it goes off,it goes off,i also think you should key up the painted surface it goes on to,give it something to cling onto
