Last real wind we had here there was a guy putting roof tiles back, we worked out he was charging something like £600 an hour but he wasn't on anyone's roof for more than 5 minuets

yea our friendly travelers went round and cleaned up last lot of wind .there called travelers that dont travel

I got fliers out when it was forcast, fences, tiles, flashing, you name it if it comes down in the wind ill put it back up

Hah! been in a gale force 8 on the irish sea when i worked on the IOM ships....lotsa people throwing up and going green.
I'm casual as hell in those conditions although it don't half make your legs do funny things on terra firma.

Nah man,the fastest in the fleet....The Tynwald and they scrapped it.

Been on the King Orry? out of Heysham for a bad overnight crossing, smashing crockery in the galley, a bloke thrown into a wall dislocating his shoulder and about 90% of the passengers green, I must have a cast iron constitution, just sat and read my paperback

The trick is to nip round during the storm, and remove a few fence panels Pop back with an exact match in the morning...
