Suzuki GSIs that a Guzzi rim?
I wasn't rushing, and seeing as I'm not in a competition, who cares?10 minutes ! Back in the day to qualify for a place in the British ISDT team one of the tests was to be able to stop / remove and replace rear tyre and ride off in under 4 minutes. This was done during an off road special test often in the rain mud etc using only tyre levers and a pressure bottle to refill tyre.
Hmm, now you mention it...where's the electric motor & gearbox ?
You mentioned the time .I wasn't rushing, and seeing as I'm not in a competition, who cares?
Only because I was surprised at how quick it was. Previous wrestlings with the device have taken longer. You mentioned the time .
Is it going to look something like this ?

I see, looks like the one I linked, only a benchtop version. Same concept. No, like this (I hope ):

Ah, a proper oneI see, looks like the one I linked, only a benchtop version. Same concept.
I'm thinking that maybe the Coats version is so tall above the rim surface, the duckbill being on a long vertical rod,
to make room for your hands to work the tire easier.
Nice one... and yes I know about the centring collar. I'll turn one up from a random bit of scroungium.
Liverpool's Ferzackerly racing tyre change teams could do that in four seconds flat , including leaving the car on four bricks at each corner .10 minutes ! Back in the day to qualify for a place in the British ISDT team one of the tests was to be able to stop / remove and replace rear tyre and ride off in under 4 minutes. This was done during an off road special test often in the rain mud etc using only tyre levers and a pressure bottle to refill tyre.
It likely helps to have a BSA QD rear hub, but it doesn't sound terribly relaxing...10 minutes ! Yes.Must do an update on this...
